Hi there! I hope that you are safe and well & corona free!I've got a furnished one room available with a double bed and plenty of shelf space in a lovely three-story house in Oranjebaan, Amstelveen. Location wise it's only 15 - 20 mins by public transport to Museumplein on the metro 51 or tram 5 (both leave from the same place, Oranjebaan station) which is only a five-minute walk away. It is available from February, and we can discuss options for long or short-term stays. The house is very spacious, bright, modern and clean. There is also a garden and a shed for your bike!As it’s a large house it means that everyone has their own privacy (while still having the option to be social if they feel like it). For this reason we have decided to only have three people in total sharing the house. If you are a nice fit you will be sharing with two lovely people, one from Japan and the other being me! And all the usual stuff is included of course...gas central heating, washing machine, fully fitted kitchen...oven, fridge, freezer...wifi Internet, dancing unicorn etc. We are fortunate in that there are two toilets for three people. The house has a large bathroom upstairs and a second toilet on the ground floor. There is a Lidl, Kruidvat and Vomar supermarket literally just around the corner and it is very close to the Stadshart shopping mall, the Amsterdam Bos, the VU and Zuid station. It is also only 10 mins from Bijlmer Arena by bus.within 10 minutes walk...• Stadshart shopping centre(Bijenkorf, H&M, Zara, Starbucks etc)• Cobra museum• Ouderkerk on the Amstel River• Wide variety of international cuisine (Japanese, Indian, Indonesian etc)• For the keen walkers or cyclists, there are great biking and walking routes close by (all along the lovely Amstel river).We are looking for like-minded, down to earth, chilled people. It's a nice quiet neighbourhood so only respectful people please! I'll need one month’s rent as a deposit (in case you steal my unicorn). The price is €700 including bills.
